Meet Nicola, a valued member of our team with a strong history at our practice. Nicola began her career as a vet nurse in 1996, and after a few career diversions, has recently returned to our practice to take on the newly created HR role. She brings with her extensive experience of working in vet clinics in Wellington, Melbourne, and Southampton, UK, and also the skills of leading a team at a local coffee roastery. She has loved many aspects of each of her roles but working with people to support their growth and aspirations was her key drive to kick off her HR career in 2017. She studied for a Certificate in HR Operations and is dedicated to helping people thrive in the workplace by offering effective solutions. We are incredibly fortunate to have her expertise and insight back with us.
Nicola’s favorite aspect of her role is supporting the personal and professional development of the individuals in our team, and contributing to the veterinary industry once again.
Outside of work, Nicola enjoys spending time with her son Liam and whenever she gets a chance, she is in the ocean and amongst nature to fill her wellbeing cup! She owns a big and lovable golden retriever x poodle named Cooper!
