Katherine joined our team in March 2015, shortly after she proudly earned her veterinary degree from Massey University. Since then, she has dedicated herself to caring for small animals, whether through consultations, intricate surgeries, or overseeing our triage department—a role that presents her with new and rewarding challenges every day.
With a profound understanding of the deep bond that exists between pet owners and their furry companions, Katherine is unwavering in her commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes in every situation. Her empathy and expertise shine through in every interaction, ensuring that both pets and their owners feel supported and cared for.
Outside of work, Katherine’s life is enriched by the presence of her two beloved dogs. Theodore, a gentle Golden Retriever, exudes warmth and friendliness, embodying the classic traits of his breed with a heart of gold. In contrast, Odie—a spirited mix of German Shepherd and Siberian Husky—brings an infectious energy to her home, filled with playful antics and boundless enthusiasm. Together, they create a vibrant, loving household, brimming with companionship and adventure at every turn.
